Last month, the stabbing death of Iryna Zarutska quickly attracted national attention last week after a man with a criminal record and a history of mental illness last month, after a security video of the creepy attack was released and spread.

Whatley believes that “Democratic policies have not only failed, but also endanger the lives of everyday Americans.

Black Brown was arrested shortly after the stabbing and charged with first-degree murder. According to police records, he has been arrested 14 times in the past decade.
Whatley, the White House and other conservatives pointed to the Gov at the time. Cooper’s 2020 Executive Order to Release Brown’s Criminal Justice Affairs Group for the Five-Year Prison Prison Affairs Commission has established a task force for the Criminal Justice Working Group.
“Roy Cooper couldn’t escape his head. He set the tone. He set the policy,” Whatley campaign spokesman Danielle Alvarez told Fox News Digital. “He took a step forward with the failed policy of the National Democratic Party and he should be held responsible for this horrible murder.”
Amid other reforms to the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis in 2020, the task force sparked national unrest, suggesting the removal of cash bail for many misdemeanors, among other recommendations.
But the task force did not ask for the release of convicted persons and the recommendations were released after Brown was released.

Cooper’s campaign called the attack “a heartbreaking, mean evil act” and accused Whatley of lying again because he knew his support for federal policies to cut local and state law enforcement funds was wrong for North Carolina. ”
The campaign added: “Roy Cooper knew North Carolina people needed to be safe in their communities; he has been prosecuting violent criminals and drug dealers throughout his career, increasing penalties for violence against law enforcement and keeping thousands of criminals away from the streets and prisons.”

Even before the killing of Zaruska, Republicans had been aiming to describe Cooper as a left-wing Democrat. But beating Cooper, who has won a statewide championship six times, four times the attorney general and twice the governor’s — it’s not easy.
Cooper’s campaign earlier this summer seemed to strengthen the Democrats’ chance to dump the Republican main seat as they attempted to take a lot of bites from the Republicans’ 53-47 Senate majority.
