But when I describe Charlie to people, I say: Imagine the greatest NFL coach ever. He knows every game. He sees talent, places it where it needs to, and fights ruthlessly in every yard. That’s Charlie. He knows every argument, deploys every resource accurately, and does it all in a masterful way.
But there is kindness behind the edge. He keeps in touch with ordinary people. The Florida hotel Bellman once pulled me aside and glowed after meeting: “He’s so nice.” Another time, a vitamin store broke out when it walked in. He has a special respect for the humble and weight of the elderly – Dennis Prager instilled this in him. He even promised my son what he would do in the future (“in the mail room,” he laughed, “I don’t waste resources”).
During the long flight, Charlie brought me profound questions about theology, marriage, Raising a childSabbath. He once asked me to exercise with him – although I soon regretted it. On the 6-foot-2-foot-240 pounds, I think I can keep up. Charlie made three sets for each of me. He is strong, brave, and a real good person.

Belief Not decoration for him, it’s central. He prayed at every meal, before every flight, and at every board meeting. He is not a nominal Christian. His beliefs are deep. And the hope for Christ – eternal life – distinguishes him from the hundreds of influencers I have encountered.

The Bible says, “Unless the seed falls on the ground and dies, it is still a man. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” Charles’ life and death will produce young Americans who fear God differently from anything this country has ever seen. His legacy, as well as the turning point in the United States, will be spread all over the world.

Our Lord is a master tactician who knows every game in the human realm. Even in the tragedy, he did everything for those who loved him. The seeds of Charlie’s life will be multiplied by millions of Charlie Kirks.
That’s the strategy. That’s my prayer.
