Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and founder of the American Turnaround Point, was shot dead.
According to a Kirk spokesman, “Charlie Kirk was shot dead at Utah Valley University. The conditions are unknown.”

Kirk was scheduled to appear at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, another stop at Utah later this month as part of his American comeback trip. His appearance attracted protests and petitions from student groups that criticized his views.
