Fifty-two houses Republicans Co-sponsored the House resolution, titled “Memorializes the Assassination of Charlie Kirk in Orem, Utah on September 10, 2025,” while condemning Kirk’s horrific and deadly shooting, while also respecting the legacy of the founder of Turning Point USA, and reaffirming support for the First Amendment and the protection of peace.

“A man who was very close to him said, ‘Well, it was him.’ Essentially, the father went to a U.S. marshal, who, by the way, was awesome, and that person was involved in law enforcement, but a man of faith, was the minister and brought him to a great U.S. marshal, who convinced his son, that’s it.”
Trump said he hopes the suspect is guilty and sentences to death.
