McCoy said he was with the Kirk family during this difficult time.

“He built it all with the power of spoken words,” McCoy said. “He never used violence, but was threatened every day by violence by people who couldn’t compete with logic and truth – now they’ve done what evil has been doing to my friends. It took life.”

“Charlie has lived all his life and remembered it for it.”

McCoy recently resigned at Godspeak Calvary Chapel. Kirk attended the ceremony.

Jeffres said the best way to respect Kirk is not to let his death silence or stop Christians in any way.

Jeffres added: “The Bible promises that when we are absent from the body, we will be at home with Jesus Christ. One day, those who we know Christ, like Charles, will be reunited in heaven forever.”
