Rev. Rob McCoy, co-chair of Turning Point Faith, told Fox News Digital Treschetry that Kirk calls him his pastor, but he prefers being called “His friends and greatest fans.”

“My friend Charlie Kirk was murdered by a coward today,” McCoy said. “His life will be remembered by many good things – Charlie’s life will be remembered by many good things.”

McCoy said he was with the Kirk family during this difficult time.
“He built it all with the power of spoken words,” McCoy said. “He never used violence, but was threatened every day by violence by people who couldn’t compete with logic and truth – now they’ve done what evil has been doing to my friends. It took life.”

McCoy added: “All evils know it is death, and they gain power from death. Charlie lives for it and remembers it for it. My heart is hurt for his family – his wife Erika and his two precious children.
“Charlie has lived all his life and remembered it for it.”
McCoy recently resigned at Godspeak Calvary Chapel. Kirk attended the ceremony.

Robby Starbuck, a conservative American social media activist, told Fox News Digital that Kirk is a staunch man. Starbucks said he knew he was “for a long time.”

Rev. Robert Jeffress of Dallas, Texas, told Fox News Digital that Kirk was speaking in his church. He asked all Americans to pray for the Kirk family.

“Charlie Kirk’s cold-blooded murder is what Jesus said, that Satan is still alive and he works in the world today,” Jeffres said. “Jesus called Satan the murderer from the beginning. He was a thief, and he came to kill, steal and destroy. We need to clearly condemn this violence against Charlie Kirk.”
Jeffres said the best way to respect Kirk is not to let his death silence or stop Christians in any way.

“The Bible says we need to tell the truth about love, Charlie Kirk did. Can we follow his example?” Jeffries said. “If we do, we will respect his life. Let me say here soon, for believers like Charlie Kirk, we know where he is.”
Jeffres added: “The Bible promises that when we are absent from the body, we will be at home with Jesus Christ. One day, those who we know Christ, like Charles, will be reunited in heaven forever.”
