Channing Tatum’s His character in the upcoming film “Roofman” has lost weight dramatically, “relevant”.
Tatum lost nearly 70 pounds for “Roofman” after adding weight to his role in “Josephine”. The actor’s latest film focuses on the story of Jeffrey Manchester, a real-life criminal who escaped from prison and hid in the toy R US store for months.
Tatum explained in an interview: “Jeff is a very thin guy type. “He’s not as big as me. I think he’s tall, but he’s really tough.”
“I just played a role earlier that year and I reached 240 [pounds],” he added, referring to the Damian character in “Josephine.” [with] The days of shooting continue to surface. I dropped to 172. ”

“She was like, ‘That’s it.’ She was like, ‘Buy him steak now’,” Tatum recalls. “I was like, ‘I think you’re right.’ It’s weird.”
Tatum said his transformation was “a bit empty and sad.”
“I’ll see myself and it looks hollow,” he added. “For me, the movie is lonely. It’s a meditation that really wants to be full of.

Tatum previously showed off his physical transformation on Instagram a few weeks after the package shot.
“We’ve backed up! Lol. The first photo is today’s 205. The second photo is 235, taking a movie called “Josephine” and then going to the third photo, which is 172 photos from the roof of the movie,” he captioned a set of photos. “I’m so grateful for my genetics. Thanks to my chef/nutritionist/witch. Thanks to my coach.”
“Without you, my weight wouldn’t be able to make these big swings,” Tatum added. “But I won’t be a fat character again haha. This is [sic] It’s hard on the body, it’s too difficult to take off now. But d — When I look at these photos, it’s just a wild human body, what can I do. ”
