Duthiers described the move as part of President Donald Trump’s “opposition mandate” and later offended the king.

“Including it in DEI is insulting,” King said. “To me, it means ‘absolutely winning it.’ You know, I think it’s heartbreaking to see what’s going on here.”
Duthiers noted that some pages that have been deleted have been restored since then.
Another notable number briefly removed from the Ministry of Defense website includes the famous Baseball player Jackie RobinsonHe served as the second lieutenant during World War II. After taking objections, the story later resumed on Wednesday.
In the comments Fox News NumbersPentagon press secretary John Ullyot said the department was happy with the effort to remove DEI content from its platform and praised people like Robinson and Hayes for serving traits outside of race.

“In rare cases (intentionally or incorrectly removed content), this is the scope clearly outlined by the Directive, we direct components and correct content, so it recognizes that our heroes work with fellow Americans for their dedication, period.”
The Pentagon did not answer questions about resuming other pages, or whether they were intentional or incorrectly deleting them.

King made a similar comment in 2023, condemning the term’s way “Awakening” becomes a derogatory for radical left-wing ideas.
“I know, it’s sad for me now, because the word ‘awakening’ is almost a weapon now,” King said. “It really misses the point of view of what is taught here. You know, I don’t see it as ‘awakening’ like ‘realism’.”
