U.S. Customs and Border Protection Immigration processing facilities near San Diego, California were closed after “unprecedented anxiety.”

At its opening, CBP said the Otay Mesa facility is “weatherproof” and “climate control” and “promising adequate areas for diet, sleep and personal hygiene.”
“The temporary 130,786 square feet facility will provide additional processing power to the Border Patrol San Diego area,” It was added.
