Democratic strategist James Cavill Friday warned that those working with President Donald Trump could be treated in the way Nazi collaborators were at the end of World War II.
Former Bill Clinton’s consultant compares in his recent section “Politicon” podcastnoting that the humiliating treatment of Europeans that helped Hitler’s troops face at the end of the war could be a historical comparison. Carville has picked out influential Americans and agencies that assisted the Trump administration.
“I’m not saying these guys should be wearing pajamas, shaved their heads, walking along Pennsylvania Avenue and spitting. I’m not saying that’s that, but I’m saying it did happen.”
He speculated on the future, wondering: “You know… how will this country feel about this regime for its collaborators?”

Strategists first objected to Trump’s agenda, calling it a “nightmare” and hoped to end. He called Trump officials “anti-Royal”, “a bunch of grinders” and then continued to work with law firms and companies in cooperation with the government for tar and feathers.
The Trump administration has put pressure on several major law firms allegedly linked to the Democratic Party and anti-Trump cause. Trump signed an executive order last month that requires Perkins COIE Law Firm They were deprived of their security permits and banned from entering government buildings. It also calls for the termination of existing contracts between the company and government clients.
Although Perkins Coie has sued Trump for the executive order, other companies have tried to reach a deal with Trump under pressure. Paul Weiss, a New York-based company, met with the president in March and agreed to pledge $40 million in legal work to exempt administrative penalties for reasons to support the government, AP Report.

Carville sees the effort to work with Trump as a surrender to his agenda.
“How shameful must these law firms have now? These firms have to attract him to his shame – which gives him tens of millions of dollars of ‘visit’. Do you know what will happen?
“Did you know… what will this country feel about collaborators? Maybe you need to go into history and see what happened after the liberation in Paris in August 1944. They weren’t very kind to collaborators. No, it’s not a very beautiful sight on the streets of Paris.”

Cavill continued that he did not endorse the treatment, but pointed out that it did happen and that the Trump Cooperative could happen, adding that he had betrayed the United States.
“But I mean it did happen. I mean these people betray the French state in a way that I think these law firms and these huge corporate conglomerates betray the United States,” he declared.
Cavill is called Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos’s “collaborator” Last month, business tycoons pledged to work with the Trump administration. “This guy won’t be remembered as the greatest retailer of all time,” Cavill said. “He will be remembered as a collaborator. He will never wash away that stench from him.”
