Chicago Bear Receiver Carson Kelly hit the cycle in the team’s 18-3 rout at Sutter Health Park on Monday night.
Kelly, 30, hit a home run in the fourth, scored two singles in the fifth, and doubled in the sixth.
He’s three times the distance One cycle A few times ago, he knew the odds piled up against him by getting an elusive triple.

“I’ve been in the same position and then it’s going to take three times the cycle. If someone looks up and lifts my number, I have two triples, so I don’t support me, right?” Kelly said after the game.
“I didn’t do it for the first time. Like “Oh, yes, it’s great.” ” Then I hit (first base) and saw it and I was like, “Oh boy, right here, I’m going to go.” “That’s probably the fastest you’ve ever seen me running.”
With a three-pointer in the eighth inning, Kelly became the first Cubs player to play in the cycle since Mark Grace. The former first baseman made a confrontation on May 9, 1993 San Diego Priest. Kelly is the Cubs catcher who hit the first race from Randy Hundley to do on August 11, 1966.

“I also know Mark Grace, in Arizona. I have to hit him,” Kelly said. “Very special. Great achievement. I never thought I would get. I was just lucky and happy. A lot of hard work, a lot of great teammates were pumping me. So, all in all, it was a very special night.”
Kelly is also just the third major league player to participate in the cycle and walk twice in the same game. Joe Gordon for New York Yankees In 1940, Mickey Cochrane did this for Philadelphia A’s in 1937.
Kelly knew he was going to participate in the cycle, but his manager, Craig Counsell, did not.
“I didn’t realize he had a cycle chance, but when that ball kicked out of the wall, the digging started going crazy. So, I think what happened,” Kussel said. “They were interesting days, rare days, and a year in the player’s life.”
