Actor Anthony Mackie, who plays the latest incarnation of Marvel Captain America in Captain America: Brave New World, warns that American masculinity is both necessary and excellent.
McGee has made a lot of headlines in recent months Captain America’s iconic role From its popular predecessor, Chris Evans, in the Marvel movie. On Tuesday, Pivot Podcast posted an extensive interview with the actor talking about his career and personal life, including how he raised his son.
“We have been living in the deaths of American men for the past 20 years,” McGee said. “For one reason or another, they literally killed the masculinity of our home and our community, but I raised my boys to be young.”
He explained that he believes that being a young man is both mature and capable of becoming a protector.

“My boys will always be respectful,” he said, explaining that he taught his sons to behave well and take care of their mothers since childhood. “Every time I leave work, I tell my 15-year-old, ‘You are the one in the house.
“Because we are men,” McGee continued. “If I’m not there to protect him, he has to protect him there. Because you can have all the money in the world, if it’s a mother [sic] Through the window, the money is nothing. You can have all the “celebrities” in the world, [if a] Motherf —Uh jump [sic] Through the door, that “celebrity” had nothing. So you have to have a little guard there. ”
McGee said ” American Masculinity Very different from other countries.
“You feel this when you go to Europe,” he said, pointing out how confused he was when he met a European man. McGee revealed that he often thought “I can ruin your ass, boy,” a “Pivot” co-host about Europeans wearing “tight pants.”

The veteran movie star said that even in Africa, American masculinity is absolutely different. He pointed out that when he was in Kenya, a onlooker told him, “You didn’t come from here” and he replied, “I can tell I didn’t come from here.”
“That’s it. I think American masculinity is very important to boys because now, our little boys are afraid of failure, so they won’t try,” McGee lamented.
Mackie has talked about manliness before. During his appearance on the Wendy Williams Show, he spoke with the host about their mutual support for the “traditional” gender roles. He said he thought a man was a person who protects, does yard work and performs certain etiquette for ladies, while his wife did things like “make dad a sandwich”.
When the co-host of Hub Podcast pointed out that many young men don’t know how to treat women in person, McGee believes women themselves are partially blamed.

“Women have…they are so mean, so angry,” McGee said.
He then shared an anecdote about how he saw his nephew approaching a woman, politely saying, “I’m sorry, how are you?” She responded to the disgusting voice.
“Why are you back?” he asked as the co-host smiled. “He just walked over to me and I gave him his beer and it was like, ‘You go there. That didn’t happen. That didn’t happen. That didn’t happen. Let’s start over.”
