The report notes that the United States is a major customer of Canadian Electric, with New York, Michigan and Minnesota being the three largest customers of Ontario’s three domestic production forces.

In response to Trump’s tariffs, Canada announced retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods on Tuesday.
