Camilla used to hate the idea of becoming a queen – she had some choices for her husband.
The claim was made by royal writer Tom Quinn in his new book “Yes Lady: The Secret Life of Royal servants.” Quinn spoke with hundreds of former and current palace staff to learn what it feels like to watch Windsor House.

Quinn told Fox News numbers, “Camilla definitely doesn’t want to be a queen because she’s smart enough to know that once she becomes a senior member of the queen or royal family, you’ll be under the microscope often.”
“And I think Camilla decided just when she first met Charles in the 1970s, ‘I don’t want to get married.’ It’s not because she doesn’t love him.

“But obviously, she said, ‘I will not be able to deal with the queen. I don’t want to be queen because it has too much attention and too much attention to me.’ She likes being able to live away from the private life of everyone.
