A California woman was hit by multiple tickets across the United States because of the novel plates of the car that looked similar enough to her license plate to deceive license plate readers.
Suzi Kiefer Dodge Big Bottle Driver “luvsick” with California Board. According to KCAL-TV in Los Angeles, she has received 15 tickets since May to violate tolls, operate red lights and speeding from Illinois, New Jersey and Texas.
When she checked the photos that came with the tickets, she found that they were from other cars, and she disputed 15 violations.
“I started calling each ticket and discussing with the person who answered the phone and explaining that it wasn’t my car. Obviously, it wasn’t my Dodge Magnum. If you look at the photos, there were Mercedes, and some were old Chevrolets,” Ms. Kiefer Tell kcal.
The cars as the ticket reason all come with novel plates, and read “Luvsick” on a white background and written in “Pink Grass” font on top of the clothing brand’s broken promise.
The background and brand name are similar enough to attract license plate readers.
Multiple sclerosis. Kiefer 15 tickets were successfully appealed.
The breach of contract did not respond to a request for comment.
