Police told Fox News Digital that a 37-year-old Russian man was found dead but remains unresolved around the mystery of the shocking homicide on Burning People’s Day.
Pershing County Investigators called on the public to seek help in the office of Sheriff Jerry Allen on Sunday, but the case was not “updated” Sunday.
Vadim Kruglov’s death occurred a week ago on August 30, but detectives have not identified the suspect.
The tragedy unfolds between 8:00 and 9:30 pm, just as the festival’s iconic wooden statue (called men) is placed in front of thousands of revelers.

The woman said anonymously that she and her partner were driving out in Black Rock when an elderly woman in a red dress marked them.
The stranger is described as a stranger in her 50s or 60s, calmly telling them that a man “bleeded and probably dead” in a tent.
When asked if she had checked his pulse, the woman replied that she “don’t want to touch him.”
The team then contacted the Black Rock Ranger they knew via Starlink, who said they passed the message to the sheriff’s office.

Officials continue to consider the case a homicide.
“We are seeking information about any suspicious identifiers that would target another person who would commit such an outrageous crime,” the sheriff’s office said in September 3. statement.
Kruglov’s father Igor posted a video message from Russia expressing his pain and calling for justice.

“Words can’t express how I feel,” he said. “I’m proud of my son, and now it’s known worldwide. He’s always feeling injustice and has been fighting for justice. I believe something similar happened here. I want those in charge to face the consequences.”
