Bryce Harper finds out baby’s gender with custom bat given by teammate

Pink and blue bats are usually reserved for Mother and Father’s Day In the major leaguesbut Monday is an exception.

Philadelphia Philadelphia outfielder Bryce Harper Looking forward to his fourth child later this year, he wants to bring gender reveal to the field.

So he ordered two bats, one pink and one blue, and asked his teammate shortstop Trea Turner to break the big news.

“He asked me to help him with the gender reveal earlier today. At first I was confused, but I thought he wanted to share that moment with us and I thought it was cool.”

But Turner won’t get the opportunity and get it easy on Harper.

“I messed up a little with him on the canoe. I picked up the pink pink and waved it a little.” “He thought he was having a girl.”

But Harper came to the plate with the blue bat.

“He’s very happy.”

Turner added: “He was kind and asked me to do it and I think it was a great time for him and his family. Very cool, very special day.”

Turner and Harper are also teammates Washington, DC and Nationals Before Harper heads to Philadelphia. Turner signed a $300 million deal with the Nats for 11 years before the 2023 season after a brief stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2023.

Harper hit the bat hit and the Phillies lost 10-4 to San Francisco’s hot San Francisco Giants, so it’s not all fun on Monday at Citizens Bank Park.
