Brooke Shields once broke into President George Bush Former first lady Barbara Bush believes her home is flooding in her bedroom.
Shields co-hosted “Today with Jenna and Friends” with the couple’s granddaughter, Jenna Bush Hager, on Thursday and explained the inexplicable moments at the elderly couple’s home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
About 15 years ago, the bush invited Shield to stay in their home after establishing a “sweet” friendship in the 1980s.

“I was doing a movie in Boston and I got a call – not saying who he was – literally, ‘I’m sorry, Miss, I heard you’re in the area. If you don’t come to Kennebunkport, you’re in trouble, Miss,’ Of course, that’s Papa Bush, that’s dad, so I took my kids there,” the model and actress said.

So Shields packed up her daughters Rowan and Grier and headed to Walker’s Point Compound.
The trip went smoothly until Shield noticed that the living room “flooded” from the sea after putting her daughter to bed.

She said, “I’m panicked, right?
“I was like, ‘This is such a special moment in my life.’”

“So, I went to the bedroom downstairs, like I was afraid of God [in me],” Shields explained.

Shields joked that once she entered the bedroom, she covered her eyes because Barbara “wears her dressing gown.”
“I thought, ‘I just want to tell you that I think the house may have been flooded, but I think I get it.’

Barbara wasn’t shocked and insisted that the shield sat between their chairs and finished the TV show with them.
“She was like, ‘George, maybe Brooke could answer this question… Ask her, ask her.’ He said, “Well, who do you want it to be? Shields said.

Shields recalled: “I was like, ‘This is such a special moment in my life.”
Hager thanks Shields for his grandparents story. The bushes were a few months apart in 2018.
“I never had a grandfather, since I was very young [George] Will give me the advice of the boy and say, “OK, I like that. I don’t like this,” so it’s a very sweet relationship I need to have with no one else,” Shields said.
