Social networking startup Bluesky is launching one of the most important features for users – no, not the edit button! – Bookmark.
The company announced new additions on Monday, calling it “Save Posts.” The feature is accessible for your liking through the new bookmark icon below each post.
You can then view your saved posts at any time from the new Save section in the main navigation of the app.
Having likes and bookmarks on social apps seems redundant, as both offer a way to tag posts to be quoted later, but bookmarks offer a private alternative to “likes.” At Bluesky, your account and its related data are public, which means your likes are public.
