Debate on Golden State spending practices continues to make a national splash, so a debate among Republican California lawmakers is in the process of vogue.

“The reason all Americans should look closely at what’s going on in California is that bad ideas in your state can actually usually start in California,” Demaio said.
“They used California as an extremist idea for health growth and then exported these bad ideas to other states and claimed that it was successful here.”
