At one point, the Patriots fell behind the Falcons by 28-3. Belichick mentioned the long-term joke while posing with Jordon Hudson.

In the photos posted in her Instagram story, Hudson wore a shirt that read “Champion Super Bowl Lee Falcon” as she stood next to Berichick, which appeared to be a hotel room.
Hudson captioned the photo: “Happy 3-28 for those celebrating.”

In another Instagram story post by Hudson, she showed off a pair of keychains.
One of the keychains said: “Living every day like 3-28 years old.” while the other showed a screenshot of the third quarter score, when the Patriots were 25 points behind.

This is not the first time Hudson fired a shot at the Falcons. She took photos in New Orleans during Super Bowl Week last month.
Many Patriots fans try to mock the Falcons annually by reversing the numbers on the calendar.

Belichick had mostly failed coaching tenure during his tenure as Cleveland Browns before he worked for the Patriots. Brady left New England after the 2019 season and won his seventh Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Patriots scored 7-9 in their first season without Brady. When the Patriots entered the playoffs in 2020, they failed to win the playoffs. New England missed the playoffs in 2022 and was one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2023.

Belichick and the Patriots separated after the 2023 season. He failed to get a lot of interest from the NFL team that was looking for a new head coach at the time, but the Falcons did give him an interview.
The team eventually hired Raheem Morris. Belichick took the coach last season, but he recently took on the job of head coaching at North Carolina.
