Other earplugs we like
Every month it seems like new earbuds are brought with it, with longer battery life, new features and a more compact design. Therefore, we can’t list everything we like. However, if you’re still hunting, here are some other suggestions.
The Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 costs $280: These premium earbuds from Beyerdynamic (8/10, recommended online) doesn’t look described and sounds great, but they lack the highest quality of buds in the list above. If you’re pursuing a pair of headphones with a great vocal definition that looks clean, they’re worth considering.
SoundCore Space A40 costs $60: While they are no longer on our main list, the Space A40 is still my favorite money, offering good features, clear sound and excellent price-level noise. They also look so refined, only they lack the automatic pause sensor to betray their low price.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, priced at $100-200: Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is getting older, but they are still with Samsung phone. They don’t have the multi-device connectivity that our Android users have the best choice, and today their five-hour battery looks short, but they offer excellent sound quality, IPX7 waterproofing, and a unique design, not just the Ape Airpods Pro. This makes them worth considering selling.
Pixel Buds are priced at $99: For most people, these used to be our top choices, but now they are masked by other affordable options that also include things like noise removal. If you can find a pair of sales, they are still worth a try, especially if you have an Android phone.
Soundpeats Air4 costs $76: Soundpeats Air4 (7/10, wired recommendation) It may be obvious that the Airpods Pro copy is imaginary, but they are very good for the money. You won’t get top-notch performance, let alone Apple exclusives (like Find My Support or iCloud Sharing), but you’ll get good sound and features with huge discounts, including cancellation of noise cancellation. Although these are not the best options, they are a great budget purchase, especially on sale.
Sony Linkbuds is for $200: Sony’s LinkBuds Fit provides a rich and powerful sound, naturalistic transparency mode and a light and comfortable fit that helps them live up to their intentions as a “anywhere” solution. They offer some reliable features, but only 5.5 hours of battery life pops up on a charge, and their noise-cancellation will do as well. Their weird reactive touch control and reliance on fragile silicone sleeves further reduce its value, but they are still Sony Buds, worth mentioning.
Montblanc MTB 03 priced at $395: For most buyers, the price of these earbuds is out of reach, but if you have cash, you get a reward for a luxury experience worthy of the brand. Montblanc calls on some heavy batsmen from the audio industry to design and express these buds. The result is a pair of small, comfortable and rather flashy wireless earbuds that really sound impressive.
Raycon earbuds every day, priced at $80: These YouTuber-Bel earbuds are actually a nice cheap pair (7/10, wired comment). They are small and lightweight and have an IPX6 rating, which makes them perfect for workouts.
Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport, priced at $399: The sport is a great choice with aggressive noise reduction and a compelling design, but the high price keeps them out of reach for most people.
Earplugs should be avoided
In general, you should avoid earbuds that don’t support Bluetooth 5.0 standard (or higher) or at least don’t offer five hours of battery life, which are more like six hours of these days. The battery in wireless headphones decreases over time, so the better your battery life at first, the greater your battery life will be in two to three years.
Apple’s standard Airpods (formerly or current Gen) priced at $119-170: These headphones do well and we just don’t like them much. ((Read our latest reviews.)They have a ok battery life, can be done in a compact situation, and powers well, but they don’t fit all ears well, and since they don’t have the tips or wings of the ears, you’re in luck if they’re loose. The most expensive models add cancel noise cancellation, which, along with the pair you expect, does not provide proper seals. Want clear music, good noise reduction, and advanced features for iPhone production? get Airpods Pro Gen 2sometimes more costly (and sometimes less), but reasonably great.
Beat Solo Buds for $80: These are lacking in almost every possible way (6/10, wired comment), especially in terms of the function of making money. Their best features are their miniature and large batteries, but that’s all. This is weird because we like other headphones in the brand, but these won’t keep up. The best we can say is that they are cheap.
Samsung Galaxy Bud 3 priced at $180: A pair of network-captured AirPods clones (5/10, wired comment), the headphones in the new Galaxy Buds series work poorly. With no ear cups, it’s uncomfortable to wear them for a long time, and canceling noise is almost useless.
