We have experienced many travel cups and not all are winners. These are a few we like, not as good as the ones above.
KeepCup 12-ounce coffee cup for $28: This double-walled, insulated cup is designed to replicate (and replace) paper coffee shop cups. If you are looking for glasses (although the rubber grip is plastic), this is a reliable option. That said, this is not the best way to keep the coffee temperature, the lid is a bit swaying.
Oxo Good Grips Hot Cup, $33: us Reviewed this bottle in 2022 And appreciate its sturdy build and dishwasher-friendly, but now it will fluctuate in stock due to its older age.
REI Cooperative Camp Cup, priced at $16: Rei’s stainless steel cup is a nice cup that doesn’t stand out. Giordano said the outer coating was hard enough to show scratches even after knocking it out a few times.
Zojirushi stainless steel cup for $22: The lid prevents accidental spills, edits Adrienne, so once you keep the tea in it for 18 hours (inadvertently) and finds it still hot when you open it. On the downside, the lid has three separate parts (a mouthpiece, washer and a lid) that is deeply ridged and annoying.
Avoid these travel cups
They can’t all be winners. As mentioned above, we exclude brands that use lead. These are two extra cups compared to our favorites.
Greens Steel Beast Beast 20 oz insulated glass for $21: The Beast Tumbler has over 78,000 positive reviews on Amazon, but we found that the rubber seal around the lid was prone to occur. This means it leaks like a sieve.
Toaks Titanium Double Wall 450ml cup for $40: We often advocate that Toaks Gear is an affordable source of titanium camping cookware. However, this cup is $12 higher than the recommended water bottle cup above and it is rougher in finishing.
