Tips before playback
There are a few things you need to do before you actually play the game. Here are some tips for setting up all settings, as the task interface is not always the easiest to navigate.
Set your boundaries. The last thing you want when playing is to encounter objects in the room, which are essentially blindfolded. Your task will guide you through the process of setting the boundaries. Roomscale allows you to draw an entertainment space to move freely and securely when still. But what if you move the location? Or do you want to play games instead of standing up?
To change the boundary, press the Oculus button on the right controller (this is the Oculus button under the joystick). This pulls up the menu at the bottom of the screen (you just need to do this if the menu is not already displayed). From there, if you hover over the clock, you can choose the Quick Settings panel. Then choose The Guardian. If you choose to pin, just hit confirm and it’s OK. If you choose RoomScale, it will guide you to draw a new guardian boundary.
Your task may also support room mapping, which uses an external camera to find walls and objects in your space and remember them later. This makes moving between rooms smooth and easy, and enables advanced XR functionality in some games. You can find information about this feature in the Environment Settings tab of settings.

At the bottom left, below the clock is a small battery icon that brings you a rough charge. If you click it, it will present the quick settings screen. On the top left is the exact percentage, and the percentage for each controller.
