I have a mouse cemetery in my office cabinet – the devices I tried and discarded because they didn’t help with my shoulder pain. The solution is roller mouse and Logitech MX Ergo It’s the best I’ve found. It tilts a more natural “handshake” grip and has a slow motion option for more precise movements in Photoshop and other apps. The rollers are fast but precise, and so are the trackballs, you can switch between the two devices using the pairing buttons. You can even program various buttons using Logitech’s software to perform application-specific operations. It is also a convenient companion for iPad and can also make good Mac accessories.
My only wear is the outdated micro USB charging port, but the battery lasts long enough that I only need to use it every few months. Priced at $100, so you might prefer $70 Ergo enhancement. It also offers handshake grip but no roller and has Bluetooth or USB dongle connectivity options.
Of course, Apple’s own Magic trackpadbasically copy the touch surface of your MacBook, so you can place it anywhere. If you are a fan Multi-touch gestures On MacBooks, this may be a more comfortable way to use them. – as
