Greenfield said in a letter posted on social media platforms by co-founder Ben Cohen on behalf of Greenfield that he believes the brand’s independence to have to speak about social issues and events has lost. Unilever.
“With more than 20 years of ownership, Ben & Jerry stood up and supported peace, justice and human rights, not abstract concepts, but related to real events happening in our world,” he wrote. “This independence exists in large part because of the unique merger agreement that Ben and I negotiated with.
