Authorities in Vernon, New Jersey killed a bear this week US dollar general Twice, a 90-year-old woman was injured there.
The Vernon Township Police Department initially responded to the store and left Tuesday at around 1:39 p.m. Police said in a release that the bear attacked a dog at a nearby store before 4 p.m. before returning to the neighboring store US dollar general.
“The bear caught my dog, but he didn’t even bite my dog - no scratches, nothing.” US dollar generaltold the New York Times.

Police arrived at the scene, found bears outside and killed the bears according to New Jersey fish and wildlife guidelines, attacking people.
According to WCBS-TV in New York City, the bear is a 175-pound black bear.
The 90-year-old woman, who wanted to be named, went to the hospital due to injuries and the dog was taken to the veterinarian. New Jersey wildlife officials are now testing the bear to see if it has rabies, police said.
