Baena and Plaza were very private about their relationship after a meeting in 2011. It is not clear when the two will be wed, but Plaza confirmed the couple’s marital status in 2021 in an Instagram post.
Plaza has deactivated her Instagram page after Baena’s death.
The square did not attend Golden Globe Award Baena died a few days after her death, although she had been previously announced as the host.
