In common games, the RTX 5080 is 10% faster than the RTX 5070 TI at 2,560 x 1,440. Given that the RTX 5080 is 25% expensive and it’s up to 20%, the RTX 5070 TI looks like a better product overall, as long as you don’t have the desire to 4K gaming.
DLSS for everyone
All 50 series cards support DLSS 4 (Deep Learning Supersampled Image Enhancement), and the title feature is again multi-frame generation. For a deeper look, check out the RTX 5090 Founders Edition review, but in a short form, the GPU uses AI to create an artificial frame that it slides between manually generated frames. The previous generations can add an extra framework, and the new 50 series cards can add three in supported games.

The effect is Cyberpunk 2077, One of the most demanding games with full DLSS 4 support. AI frameworks are not free, but they can also be that each time you add a frame, essentially multiply the frame rate by the consistent pattern of all cards.
Functionally here, I still feel like I have a high-end card. This is a great way to dramatically increase the frame rate of games that support games, especially in movies Cyberpunk 2077, But I just want to rely on it as much as possible.
Asus Prime is in a compelling position, and is attractive to products that cannot be purchased. If you can find one in MSRP, or you are reading this month, and they have managed to solve the supply issue, the RTX 5070 TI makes sense for 1080p and 1440p gamers, but only at that price point. The RTX 5080 is at least 25% expensive, with only two cards at its retail price, with only 10% to 20% performance. The RTX 5080 becomes the better choice when you start to spread to over $800.

The problem with the RTX 5070 TI is availability. When I wrote this review, the graphics card has been technically sold for hours, but I can’t find any examples of online retail. Actually, I can’t find any RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 cards in the retail industry, and now we’ve been there for a few weeks.
Limited inventory has plagued the launch of previous generations of GPUs, but this version is particularly tough for gamers. Combining it with the relatively high price of overclocking cards, the RTX 5070 TI and RTX 5080 start to blur in price and performance, so the best GPUs start to be the ones you have in front of you. To be sure: If you look at the RTX 5070 TI on the shelf for $750, it’s better to catch it before someone else.
