Sabalenka felt overwhelming about Anisimova. She was shooting from her shoelaces and throwing them into the corner of the courtroom that Anisimova couldn’t achieve.

But Anisimova made an amazing comeback. She took advantage of some of Sabalenka’s mistakes and even rose 6-5 in the second set. Sabalenka then showed why she is still the top player in the sport.

This is Sabalenka’s first Grand Slam title in 2025. She fell in this year’s French Open final and was ousted in the Australian Open final of Madison Keys. Anisimova shocked her at Wimbledon, but then lost to Iga Swiatek.

She has four now Grand Slam title During her career. Last year, she beat Jessica Pegula to win the U.S. Open.
