Apple today launched the iPhone 17 series at its “Awesome” event, with the base model getting an upgraded display.
Compared to the 6.1-inch screen of the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 has a slightly larger screen at 6.3-inch. The display itself is being upgraded with a promotional display, which is used in the base model for the first time.
It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and dynamically switches to different refresh rates using LTPO (low temperature polycrystalline oxide). The display also has a peak brightness of 3,000 columns for improved external transparency.
The phone is available in lavender, mist blue, black, white and sage colors.
