Human Announce Its Claude AI can be integrated with Google Workspace. This combination allows AI assistants to access any information in Gmail, Google Documents, and Google Calendar. Enterprise-level customers even offer a special cataloging option for documents that are designed to provide better speed and accuracy when retrieving information.
This update may make Claude more useful in using chatbots to schedule or access information in the Google ecosystem. The blog post with the announcement states that the Enterprise Option has special security controls, but does not specify whether other users can prevent Claude from accessing sensitive information that may be stored in emails or documents. Google Workspace integration is now available for Beta across all paid personification clients.
Humans are also adding research capabilities. Queries in this mode are designed to be answers to “automatically explore different angles of your question and work systematically”. Claude’s answers in the study will include citations for fact-checking. Anthropic says this feature can be used in conjunction with Google to analyze information stored in multiple different locations, such as notes about complex work or school projects. In the United States, Japan and Brazil can provide early beta for research as the largest, team and enterprise program users.
