Angels prospect Rio Foster hospitalized after vehicle crash, team says

Angel of Los Angeles Rio Foster was hospitalized after a vehicle crash on Friday morning, the team said.

“Rio is currently receiving medical services in local hospitals and is still in critical condition.” said in a statement. “We asked the entire Angel community to join our organization to keep Rio and his family at their hearts during this difficult time.”

Foster, 22, is currently playing for the Angels branch in the high-level A minor league, the Three City Dust Devils. The team was scheduled to face Hillsboro on Friday night, but the game was suspended. The Dust Devil enters social media and offers blessings.

“The thoughts and prayers of the entire Dust organization were in a car accident early this morning, Rio Foster and Rio Foster, who suffered severe injuries,” the Little League team said.

Foster was selected in the 16th round of the 2023 draft after serving at the Florence-Darlington Technical College, South Carolina.

Track and Field Defeated the Angel on Friday. The second game of the three-game series between the track and field competition and the Angels is scheduled to take place Saturday night.

The Angels ranked fourth in the Western Conference of the American League.
