Watkins averaged 27.1 points per game in freshmen. Clark is the best scorer in men’s and women’s basketball of NCAA Level I ever, and is the only player to score more points than Watkins averages.

Watkins received the Top 10 Player of the Year honors and became the All-American first team for the second consecutive year. USC will meet No. 5 Kansas Friday at Sweet 16 in Spokane, Washington.
