Online influencer Andrew Tate Beat stifled his ex-girlfriend at the Beverly Hills Hotel, according to a civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Thursday.
Model Brianna Stern appeared in Maxim Australia magazine and Playboy, accusing Tate of sexual assault and assault, gender violence, negligence and other actions allegedly taking place in his 10-month relationship.
Tate’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the allegations.
The lawsuit calls for unspecified statutory and punitive damages.
Tate, 38, is a former professional taekwondo player and self-professional misogynist who has accumulated over 10 million followers on X, is Currently accused of trafficking in Romania and his brother, Tristan Tate. Romanian officials recently allowed two people to return to the United States after they lifted a ban on travel on them.
Tate met Stern in Romania last summer. When the brothers were banned from leaving Romania, they invited models to meet with them to help promote their cryptocurrency coins. According to her lawsuit, one of the models is Stern, who wants to promote her own cryptocurrency coins.
She joined a group that landed in Bucharest, the Romanian capital, in July 2024.
But she said she was picked out by other models and was taken over by Tate himself in his car. The two drove nearly three hours from her hotel to the Airbnb villa in Transylvania, where cryptocurrency photos will be taken.
According to the lawsuit, Tate said Tate won Stern’s claim that he offered dates to the women he dated and that she would no longer need a job if they were together.
In their relationship, Tate was kind and loving, but he was also cold and dismissive. The complaint said he called her derogatory name and said she was his “property.”
Stern said he told her: “I punish you for my actions” and “You have the attitude because you weren’t hit enough and it hits.”
Tate will follow up on his insult based on screenshots from the text exchange included in the lawsuit.
But Tate’s actions ended up becoming violent, Stern said.
On March 10, the two spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The complaint said he began to beat her when they had sex.
“Initially, the sexual behavior was voluntary, but things quickly changed,” Stern said in the lawsuit. “Tate began to verbally degrade the plaintiffs, but this time, it was worse, more aggressive and more violent. Tate then began choking the plaintiffs.”
The lawsuit says she started crying, begging him to stop, but he choked her until she was almost unconscious.
Stern said he suffocated her with one hand and beat her repeatedly on her face and overhead with the other.
“When doing so, Tate repeatedly told her that if she crossed him, he would kill her.” “The plaintiff did his best to protect himself when she cried and begged until Tate cummed and stopped beating and suffocating her.”
The complaint said he ended up falling asleep.
She wanted to leave immediately, but was too scared. The complaint said that the next morning, she did not pretend nothing had happened and left.
According to the lawsuit, she sought help from friends and had met with a doctor. Stern said she was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome and doctors told her to report chord and assault to police.
But Stern said she was scared and didn’t want to say anything.
She included a screenshot of a text exchange, and Tate allegedly wrote: “If you betray me, you will regret it.”
Stern replied: “Okay crazy.”
“No, I’m serious,” he allegedly wrote.
The complaint said she was afraid that she said she was waiting to file a police report with the Beverly Hills Police Department until Tate left the country until her sister could go to the police department with her.

Stern said she was “an emotional shipwreck that kept looking at my shoulder.”
“The whole situation is very painful and very difficult,” she said. “I have considered leaving Andrew silently, doing nothing, doing nothing because I’m scared because honestly, it’s hard to accept myself being abused. But I can see now that doing this will be a timid way.”
