Amazon has launched a new Eero product at IFA 2025 that can provide you with connectivity if your home internet goes out. New product called Eero Signal Connect to any USB-C powered Eero device on a Wi-Fi 6 and above network. Here is a cellular backup, two versions available: a 4G LTE, which will cost you $100, while 5G costs 5G, which will take you $200. The signal can detect an interrupt and automatically connect you to its multi-carrier ESIM cellular network, which is already included in the price of the device. Once it finds out it returns online, it will also switch back to your home internet.
It should be noted that signals are not used independently. It only requires a backup of the existing primary Internet connection and can only work in a single location. The device is designed to stay connected when you don’t have a home internet connection. You will need an annual Eero plus subscription to be able to enjoy its benefits, although it is also about to enter the Eero business. The annual Eero Plus plan will give you all the privileges of $99 per year, including access to VPN, Antivirus, password manager, and 10GB of backup data. If you live in a place with frequent power outages, you can get the new annual Eero Plus 100 plan, which comes with 100GB of backup data for $200 per year.
