The incident allegedly occurred early Sunday morning, with the group sharing images showing damage to the building’s entrance.
Albuquerque Fire Department The department said in an article on its Facebook page that it also confirmed the alleged attack, saying they were sent to the phone before 6 a.m. and said the fire was under control within five minutes of arrival by firefighters.
The department said the structure caused damage to the front entrance and the damage to smoke throughout the building was lost, adding that civilians or firefighters were reportedly not injured.

The Fire Department, together with the Albuquerque Police Department, said it was an active and ongoing joint federal/ATF investigation.

“This terrible attack is driven by hatred and intolerance, a direct attack on our values, freedom and political right to express ourselves,” Barrera wrote.

Barrera continued that the alleged action was “not an isolated incident.”
“This is part of the disturbing politically motivated violence that plagues our country, partly due to the silence and implicit encouragement of progressive leaders who refuse to condemn these actions,” Barrera said.

The chairman added that they are working closely with alcohol, tobacco, guns and explosives (ATF), local law enforcement and federal investigators and “committed to providing every evidence needed to bring those responsible for justice and ensure they are prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law.”
“We are deeply relieved that no one has been hurt by an attack that could be tragic and fatal,” the chairman wrote.
“Those who resort to violence must take responsibility for our states and nations, and our state leaders must strengthen these timid attacks through decisive actions will not be tolerated.”

In response to the organization’s claims, a spokesman for the Democratic Party of New Mexico told Fox News Digital that they condemn any action taken against the Republican Party and hope to be held accountable for the alleged attack.
“The Democrats in New Mexico condemn any intentional damage from the Republican headquarters in New Mexico,” the statement said.
“We firmly believe that such behavior has absolutely no place in our democracy and that peace discourse and organization are the only way to resolve political differences in our country. We want to find and take responsibility for those whom we have.”
Fox News Digital approached FBI Albuquerque to comments but received no immediate response.
