Mottram posted a selfie on her Facebook page the day before she discovered her body, titled “This is…almost 48.”

“The concerns about both suspects are a key step in the investigation,” the Washington City Police Department said. “But the investigation team is currently following up on many aspects of the case. Again, we pay tribute to the families and friends of the victims of this meaningless violence.”

Sorescu and Flanagan were held at the Dixie Regional Detention Center in Washington County.
