The idea behind Funnelfox is simple: It can help app manufacturers create quizzes or experiences on the web to acquire or on-board customers. Once the customer pays, they get a link to download the app. This way, app manufacturers don’t have to pay up to 30% of the App Store tax.

For over a year, Adapty has been working with over 100 clients to try Funnelfox. The company said it has tracked $20 million in revenue at this stage, doubled its revenue from customers compared to direct revenue from mobile in-app purchases.
Funnelfox has drag and drop tools to build quizzes to get customers. It also has an AI component that asks different questions based on the app’s App Store or Play Store link.
The startup has two core parts of the business: an SDK that helps app manufacturers with app subscriptions and provides marketers with an audience-oriented platform and understands the value of their customers’ longevity. Funnelfox is the latest version of its suite. Customers can use Funnelfox separately from Adapty when using other application revenue tracking solutions, e.g. Revenuecat.
Funnelfox works on revenue sharing, and the company cuts down on user acquisitions. Adapty said that Funnelfox’s pricing was tiered, but no exact details were specified.
Adapty has been raised To date, it is $2.5 million in capital. Daviddorf said the company was profitable. While the startup is not actively looking for funding, it aims to explore fundraising efforts.
The company serves 10,000 applications and has tracked $1.2 billion in revenue per year. This is the height of the 2500 apps it tracks in 2022. Davydov said the company has been growing in terms of the number of apps and revenue it tracks.
The startup hopes to add more AI to its products. For Adapty, it wants to use AI to help app manufacturers create payment screens, thus giving them better conversion rates by suggesting designs and rates.
