Rap executives and alleged senior CRIPS street gang leader were charged Thursday with dozens of federal crimes as the Department of Justice (DOJ) calls it a “mafia” crime business.

“The RICO’s allegations against Mr. Henley and colleagues reflect a crime model that ranges from ransomware to tax evasion, all of which are the umbrella of an organized crime organization led by Mr. Henley,” said Tyler Hatcher, a special agent for the IRS Criminal Investigation at the Los Angeles Field Office.
“In addition, Mr. Henry allegedly continued to conduct criminal activities by running a charity organization that promotes anti-edge solutions, which is directly contrary to his charity. IRS-CI proudly works with law enforcement agencies to investigate these criminal organizations to protect our communities from further harm.”
The FBI was considered for assisting in the investigation.
“Mr. Henry looks forward to a strong defense of these allegations and keeping his innocence,” his attorney John Targowski told Fox News Numbers.
