As a possible federal shutdown is imminent, Democratic leaders Congress Negotiations demanded a meeting with President Donald Trump to end what they called “your decision” to close the administration office if no action is taken at the end of the month deadline.

“Democrats remain clear and consistent in our position,” they said. “We are ready to work on a bipartisan spending agreement to improve the lives of American families and resolve the Republican medical crisis.”
The White House did not respond immediately.
