But Dart reached out to Manning and talked about the total unexpected: booking of five-star restaurants.
“Suddenly, it’s training camp. He called me one day and was like, ‘Do you have a minute?’ I said, “Yes, of course. ” …He said: “Can you book me at Charles’ 4th tonight at 6:30? ”
“I was like, ‘No, no, no. It’s not part of the deal. I’m not doing that when I said I’d be happy to help. I’m not your reservation. You have to win the right to call and make a reservation.”
