New York Jets Broad receiver Josh Reynolds was now listed as a wrong status when he was hit in the back of his head and legs in October 2024.
The NFL player, then a member of the Denver Broncos, was injured in a shooting on October 18, 2024 when he and two others were shot dead by several suspects while chasing a car, who mistakenly believed the trio was involved in a drug scam. Denver Post The report said court documents.

The suspect mistakenly identified Reynolds’ group as individuals involved in an earlier drug deal, using $250,000 in fake funds to buy cocaine. The suspect investigated the group inside a strip club in Glendale the night of the shooting, and then followed them to shoot at them while the car chased, according to court records.

The Denver Post reported that the chase involved as many as four cars.
In a statement to Fox News Digital at the time Wild Horse Confirmed Renault was injured in the shooting.
“Josh Reynolds was the victim of a shooting in Denver Friday and was treated for minor injuries,” the statement said. “Out of respect for legal proceedings, we will postpone further comments on the matter to authorities.”

Reynolds was shot in the back of his head and left leg. The report said a second person was shot in the back and one-third were injured by broken glass. The shooting was charged with seven adults and a teenager, one of whom remains the entire person.
The Denver Post reported Friday that Burr Charlesworth, 42, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being charged. Felony assault. He was driving a vehicle he used when the shooting was shot.
