An elderly British couple was caught by that couple Taliban After eight months of imprisonment, this week.
Barbie Reynolds, 76, arrived in Qatar on Friday after months of negotiations between Qatar, the Taliban and the UK.
The couple lives in Afghanistan For 18 years, they ran an educational charity.
Despite the torture, Barbie Reynolds said they would return to Afghanistan if they could. They are all Afghan citizens.
She added at Kabul airport: “As they said in Afghanistan, God is a good man.”

The couple was detained in February and when they arrived in Doha, Qatar on Friday, relatives, including their daughter, met with the couple.
Their daughter, Sarah Entwistle, was obviously excited and told Qatar’s reporters: “Thank you for coming back to our family.”
She added that their families will be “forever grateful to Katari and the British government for standing with us during this difficult time”.
“This experience reminds us of the power of diplomacy, empathy and international cooperation,” she said.
The couple’s son, Jonathan Reynolds, told Sky News in the United States that their health will begin to deteriorate despite Katar ensuring they have access to their doctors and medicines during their imprisonment.
UN health experts also warn that the couple’s captivity could hurt or even kill them.

Their family accused the Taliban of abusing the couple and urged the government to explain why they were detained.
Qatar Secretary of State Mohammed bin Abdulaziz al-Khulaifi said he thanked the fruitful cooperation between the UK and the Taliban.
The Taliban claimed the couple violated Afghan law without a detailed description.
