Morrisey Two shows were cancelled in the United States after receiving a threat to his life.
The 66-year-old musician was scheduled to perform two shows on the East Coast over the weekend, but announced Instagram He was forced to cancel due to a “reliable threat.” He will perform on Saturday night at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut and Saturday at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts.
“Morisey’s life has been trustworthy in recent days,” the Instagram post read. “The engagement at Foxwoods tonight has been cancelled out of caution in safety of artists and audiences. We appreciate your understanding.”
