Regina Santos-Aviles, staff member of Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales Texasdied after an “accident” and she caught fire at home on Saturday.
Uwald Police Chief Homer Delgado pointed out that there was no sign of a “foul play”.
“It was an accident,” said Nora Ann Gonzales, the woman’s mother, noting that her daughter suffered a burn. San Antonio Express.
The store also reported that Mario Rangel, head of the Uvald Volunteer Fire Department, said: “A person on fire was sent.”

Rangel noted that when the crew was cancelled on the way, four firefighters responded because the residence was near the station due to the arrival of the crew.
“When we arrived we learned about the fire behind the residence extinguished with the fire extinguisher,” he said. “At the same time, EMS personnel are taking care of a woman who suffered burns. She was transported by EMS and flew to San Antonio Hospital at some point.”

Santos-Aviles served as regional director of MPs LinkedIn profile instruct.
“As part of the ongoing investigation, our agency has conducted a preliminary review of the incident, and we are coordinating with the Office of the Medical Examiner, the UVALDE EMS, and the DPS Texas Rangers Office and the DPS Texas Rangers Office to complete the investigation, retrieve records and other relevant information, which may take some time.”

“Again, our hearts pay tribute to the families of the victims and to all those affected by this loss,” Delgado said. “At this point, there is still no sign of foul. As with our standard procedures, all unattended deaths have been thoroughly investigated.”
