American Noah Lyles wins fourth World Championship 200m title to match Usain Bolt’s historic record

American track and field star Noah Lyles wins his fourth title in 200 meters at the World Championships In Tokyo On Friday.

Lyles’ four wins matched Usain Bolt’s 200 200 titles at the World Championships.

Lyles, 28, didn’t start quickly. Olympic teammates Kenny Bednarek took the initial lead. Lyles rushed to Bednarek and ran straight and drove him down.

Lyles completed in 19.52 seconds and got a .06-second margin on Bednarek only. Two teammates participated in some extracurricular activities after last month’s match at the U.S. Championship Eugene, Oregon.

As Lyles leads Bednarek, he turns to his teammates and stares at him as he crosses the finish line. Bednarek is exceptional, leaving Lyles pushing in the back. The two finally shook hands and made up for it.

This time in Tokyo, there were no such fireworks at the end of the game, Lyles raised four fingers and said, “That’s four, baby.”

Botswana sprinter Letsile Tebogo won the race at the 2024 Paris Olympics, while Lyles ran against Covid. Bednarek won the silver medal, while Lyles won the bronze medal despite fighting Covid.

Tebogo ranked fourth in Tokyo on Friday, while Jamaica’s Bryan Level ranked third.

American runner Melissa Jefferson-Wooden made history during the World Championships.

Jefferson-Wooden has completed the first women’s 100-200 doubles in the world since Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in 2013, winning in 21.68 seconds, a .46-second gap for British surprise silver medalist Amy Hunt.
