Four face shocking charges Smuggling cases From El Paso, Texas.
The four were accused of smuggling unaccompanied children aged five to 13 from Juarez, Mexico, into the U.S., parents of children at border patrol checkpoints posing and calming down with them Cannabis Gummies.
Mexican nationals Susana Guadian and Daniel Guadian, their daughter Dianne Guadian, a U.S. citizen; Manuel Valenzuela, a legal U.S. resident of El Paso, is accused of conspiring to transport aliens in western Texas and bringing them to the United States for economic gain. Jason Stevens, a special agent who runs the Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) El Paso, said officials are working to extradite Mexican nationals to the United States to face their allegations.
“They would have the driver pose as a parent and provide our documents, wrongly claiming that these documents belong to those children who were smuggled,” Stevens said.

According to the criminal complaint, the smuggling incident occurred between May 1, 2024 and October 18, 2024. In at least one smuggling activity, a child was taken to the hospital after bringing candy candy from marijuana.
“We’ve seen all the adhesives from Benadryl to the present, which are used to keep the kids resting,” Stevens added. “They usually bring them overnight between 10 a.m. and 10 a.m. or 5 a.m. while the kids sleep. They use it to make sure they remain calm so they’re less likely to answer questions or provide anything that would be inconsistent or contrary to the smuggler’s remarks.”
Criminal complaints include text messages to the suspects, which translate into English: “Young lady, are you working today? I have a boy 7 and 8. They are very young.

“These kids are nothing more than the currency of criminals,” Stevens said. “We want to make sure we ban this before we get here and stop this problem before they get here because in some cases we found the kids hiding the house, or we got a case, or we will contact the local department where a family was blackmailed and detained the kids.”

“While we understand people who want to come to America for a better lifestyle, there is a legal way to do that,” Stevens said. “It’s obvious that we recommend that they do this and invest money in the process because when they’re with a struggling organization, they can’t control any elements or people that are going to smuggle them.”
