“It’s inevitable for me to see some differences and see leaders calling for violence. Then, when violence happens, take a step back and walk away, ‘We don’t support this, we don’t support this.’ You call it,” he said.
He continued: “I should have prayed for those who we make comments like this, those who have the hearts in that place, I haven’t.” “I’m honestly angry. I think a lot of us are angry. Many of us are tired of it.”

“If you want to call it a mental health issue, or what do you think about it, don’t condemn the murder of an innocent person, you know, like these people ignore the fact that two children wake up without a dad. A wife without a dad. A wife without a husband and our country wakes up, without a man, and without a man devotes his life to improve his life.”
“It’s pointless. I don’t understand, it p — let me go.”

Last week, Gilbert – currently on the “Tattoo Tour 2025” – lead the crowd in silence to honor Kirk At a performance in Maryland On Friday.
“How powerful is silence,” he said. “But how powerful is freedom of speech.”
Gilbert continued: “I don’t care if you left, right, black, white, you want to be someone today or tomorrow, whatever, you’ve never celebrated such a coward.”
Gilbert told Fox News Digital that the silence was “deafening”.

Kirk, 31, was assassinated at a turning point event in the United States Utah Valley University September 10 in Orem. Later that day, he was pronounced dead.

Despite the ongoing divisions within the country, Gilbert told Fox News Digital that he is still praying for solidarity.
“I mean, I think that’s hope, right? Again, I try to stay positive, hopeful and encouraged. If I feel that way now, I’d be lying.”
“It seems like we’re another way. You know, honestly, the only way I’ve seen this become right, the only way I’ve seen us bringing the nation back together is to return it to God.”
“I believe in God, believe in the Bible, we are doing a lot of things in the other direction, and that’s about me.”
