Christian defense lawyer and writer Frank Turek Charlie Kirk Assassinated at Utah Valley University. In a new podcast, he recounts the September 10 shooting and announced the 31-year-old’s death at the hospital.
Kirk first came into contact with Turek a few years ago Christian apology, “Charlie Kirk’s Greatness: Witnesses to His Life and Difficulties,” Turek said in the podcast.
Their relationship flourished, and Tourek said he came to consider Kirk as his son.
On the morning of the event, Turek joined Kirk’s team and drove there Utah Valley University, Discuss potential student questions and fine-tune the answers.

After a quick stop to talk to a local entrepreneur group, the team arrived at the outdoor venue, and Kirk began taking pictures with supporters and threw his hat into the massive vibrant crowd.
Although Tourek told Kirk that he was concerned about the large number of buildings nearby and the security risks they could pose, he said Kirk seemed to be on his private security and Local police detail.
Turek was eager to share the excitement of excitement, and he stood about 30 feet to the right of Kirk as his family members. He explained that in the midst of the question of trans violence, he heard a shooting and watched Kirk go backwards.

“I’m still on the phone and my daughter woman told me that this is the first word in my mouth, ‘No, no, no, no.’ … What would you do if your son got beaten up…I got in the car because if there was any way to save him, I had to do something.”
Turek and the safety team jumped into the SUV they used to attend events and joined the hospital while performing CPR and reciting prayers.
“And Charlie is tall, we can’t close the door,” he said. “We drove four miles… and opened the door to the hospital.”
Tourek said he kept shouting, “Come on, Charlie! Come on! Come on!”

Turek said when they were frantically competing for the hospital, he realized Kirk had disappeared.
“Charlie is not there,” Tourek said in tears. “His eyes are fixed. He is not looking at me, he is about to look at me for eternity. He is already with Jesus. He is killed immediately, absolutely no pain.”
Tourek said that despite their best efforts, there was nothing they could do to save Kirk.
“If this was total comfort, Charles would not suffer.” “He was gone. He was with Jesus. Absent from the body – with the Lord. That was who he is.”
Doctor briefly restored Kirk’s pulse Hospital, But, according to Tourek, a surgeon declared Kirk dead within half an hour.
He said hospital staff described Kirk’s injury as “disastrous.”

Tourek said the U.S. turnaround point Team USA immediately contacted Kirk’s wife Erika and sent a plane to catch her. They also called Vice President JD Vance.
When Erika arrived at the hospital, Turek said she vowed to continue his legacy and even took a little time to assure him in her own pain.
“She said, ‘He loves you, he’s doing what he wants to do.’ “And we just hug each other and she said she wants to keep Charlie’s legacy. …This woman will not be denied. If the assassin thinks he is going to end Charlie’s legacy, he just pours gasoline on it, and Erica will lead the charge. ”

Due to the initial police investigation, the team was unable to access the SUV they were traveling with or their personal belongings. But when the vehicle was cleaned up, Tourek said Erika asked her husband for a cross necklace, which disappeared in a hurry.
Turek found the cross on his computer bag, and Kirk lay as the team drove him to the hospital.
Erika then took a heartbreaking photo when she escorted the body to a church in Arizona.

Throughout the podcast, Tourek describes Kirk as a fearless, relentlessly Christ-centered leader.
He stressed Kirk’s humility, discipline and dedication to his family, overturned critics, who he said “distorted” some of Kirk’s more controversial remarks.
Tourek added that Kirk sent him in his last post the day before his killing, in his last post Bible verse 1 Corinthians 16:9: “A wide door to work effectively has opened its doors to me, with many opponents.”
