Officials confirmed to Fox News that a military helicopter crash investigation was underway in Washington state after a downed plane was shot down Wednesday night.
The crash occurred in NE, Lake Summit areaAR joint foundation Lewis-McChord (JBLM) On Wednesday night, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.
“We were told that the military had lost contact with the helicopter In this area We are working closely with JBLM to deploy any resources to assist. ”
A spokesman for the base said the incident occurred around local time, “in rural areas near the facilities.”
